Since I am in Burnie, I was playing Aussie football. I went twice a week to training. When I first showed up for training I already realised, the Burnie Dockers are such an amazing team and now I went today to the last training and yes, the Burnie Dockers are definitely an AMAZING team. Everyone encourage everyone and at the end of a trill we give everyone a high five. At the very start the trainings were a bit hard because I haven't done anything since April 2016...But with the time I got into it. We also have done a lot of running, like hills running, distance running or time running. It is very important to be able to run for a longer time. I have learned how to kick a football, how to do a handball, how to shaper, how to mark a ball, how to pick up a ball of the ground, I just learned how to play Australian football. I also learned that football isn't always about fun. When you are at training you need to be 100% focused because you need to learn all the weaknesses and the streghts of your team mates. You can't You need to know who can kick a football 50 meters and who can't kick it that far. You need to know who is fast, who isnt fast, you just need to know everything about your team mates. Even at training you need to give a 100%, even though you might not be keen to do some running. In game it is gonna be even harder. Maybe you quiet don't understnd now what I am actually mean because you haven't palyed it. But I must say it is the best team sport I have ever played! My team isn't just a team, we are a family and I am really sad to leave my dockers family. I love Australian football!!!

Boat Harbour
5 weeks ago I went with Sarah (she was an exchange student from Austria, but with another organisation) to Boat Harbour. Boat Harbour is one of the nicest beaches in Tassie, I think. It is around 20 min from Burnie, so I have been there heaps of times and I must say it is one if my favorites places in Tassie. Sarah and I spent a lot of time at the beach. We build a really nice sand castle and we also went surfing. The water was still freezing even though we have worn a wetsuit. We still enjoyed surfing! Also we started to practise our German again. Her German was better than mine cause she is actually talking German at home and not like me. I am still speaking Swiss German at home and i haven't spoken german for a year....So yes i was pretty bad, but at the end of the weekend I already was better than at the start....Ahahah it was hilarious to hear us talking in German. It was a fun weekend.
